Many plumbing issues start small and go unnoticed until they waste water or cause damage. Take a few minutes this week to check these three things.
š Weekly Home Maintenance Check
This week take 5 minutes to check these:
1. Check Your HVAC Filter
Pull the filter out.
Check the size printed on the edge (example: 16Ć25Ć1).
If it looks gray or dusty, itās time to replace it.
2. Test Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Detectors
Press the test button on smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to make sure the alarm sounds. Replace batteries if needed.
3. Test GFCI Outlets
Press the āTestā button on GFCI outlets (usually found in kitchens, bathrooms, and garages). The outlet should immediately shut off power.
Then press āResetā to restore power. If it doesnāt trip or reset properly, the outlet may need to be replaced.

Check the pressure gauge on your fire extinguisher. The needle should sit in the green zone. If itās low, the extinguisher may need replacement.
